It depends on what kinds of issues you’re trying to correct. If you’ve made the decision to get a mouth guard, we may gather digital x-rays and mouth impressions to be sent off to a dental lab. All of our mouth guards are made from high-quality materials. When the guard is created and mailed back to our office, you will come back for a fitting. We can make small adjustments until it fits properly.
Once your mouth guard is created and fitted, we’ll give you instructions on how to properly care for it. You’ll need to clean it regularly before and after each use and store it in a safe, dry place when you’re not using it. We may ask that you bring your guard with you to your regular appointments so we can inspect it and possibly make recommendations on repairs or replacements (if necessary).
